Mary Lou "Lou Lou" Cooper, age 68, passed away September 19, 2021. She was a loving Caretaker to her sister, Judy Hobby for some time. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her dog, Roscoe. Her greatest joy was time spent with grandchildren. She loved spoiling them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, JB and Lizzy Hobby; sister, Wanda Buckhalter.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Hollis Cooper; step-children, Cody (Payton) Cooper and Hayley (Hadan Walker) Cooper; grandchildren, Skylar, Zoey, Carter and Finn; siblings, Jim (Jean) Hobby, Billy Hobby, Anthony (Kathy) Hobby, Elizabeth Ann Havard, Carolyn Davis, Sally (LeRoy) Colburn, Pat (Louis) Shoemaker, Martha (Chuck) Johnston, Jo Ellen (James) Moore, Judy Hobby and Vicky (Grady) Sherman.
The Visitation for Mary Lou Cooper will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Richard Maples, Bro. Johnny Williams and Bro. Stacy Fillingim. Burial will follow in Benndale Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers include Noah Maskew, Gary Johnston, James Hobby, Jordon Colburn, Dylan Davis, Cody Cooper and Hadan Walker.
