Nathan Haugen, of Clarkfield, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Avera Mckennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, at the age of 48.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Monday.
Nathan Orrin Haugen was born on June 3, 1971 in Montevideo, MN to Orrin and Darlene (Schelinder) Haugen. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Nathan attended and graduated from Montevideo High School. After graduation he attended schooling in Willmar, MN for Ag Tech. Nathan worked in dairy farms with Richard and Roland Haugen Farms all throughout high school and college. Working was an important part in Nathan's life, but he also loved spending time with family and friends, and had an interest in old cars.
Nathan is survived by his brother, Michael (Mary) Bates; sister, Victoria (Scott) Kling; two nephews, Justin Kling and Kenneth Bates; two nieces, Amy Kling and Amanda Bates; relative and friend, Richard Haugen; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
