Albert Edward Scholtens went to be with his Lord, on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 just hours after the passing of his wife, Marianne. He is survived by his daughter, Judy and Jim Goote; grandson, Nick and Rachel Goote; granddaughter, Sarah and Adam Nieuwkoop; great-granddaughters, Elise and Charlotte Goote; sisters, Carol Broene, Arlynne and Hank Ritsema; one sister-in-law, Virginia and Gordon Beuker; brother-in-law, Bruce Dice; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Albert and Marianne will be at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE, Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A private interment service for Albert and Marianne will be held in Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
