Obituary for Margaret L. Pritchard (Lebanon)
Margaret Louise Pritchard, daughter of Ray Anthony and Emma Ann Ricker Etherton, was born July 6, 1934, in Ellinwood, Kansas. She departed this life Friday, June 25, 2021, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-six years, eleven months, and nineteen days.
She was married to Leonard Shehorn on August 22, 1953, who passed away on July 21. 2008.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kenneth Shehorn; a great-granddaughter, Tia Peters Zarechi; five brothers, Ray, Jr., Charles, James, Vernon, and Donald Etherton; and two sisters, Wilma Roberts, and Ella Maxine Walls.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Kay Jamison, of Pueblo, Colorado, and Tina Chenault, and her husband, David, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Cecil Shehorn, and his wife, Lillian, of Lowry City, Missouri; two sisters, Lavina Kauffman, of Mount Hope, Kansas, and Judy A. McKee, of Burrton, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Ellinwood, Kansas and graduated from Ellinwood High School. Throughout the years, she was always a devoted homemaker and loving mother to her family. In 2019, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri, and made her home.
Margaret was raised in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, reading, and camping with her family. She loved her family dearly and greatly enjoyed spending time with them.
Margaret was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.

Services for Margaret Pritchard will be Tuesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at the Holman Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Missouri with Rev. Allen Reeves officiating.
A private burial will be Saturday, July 3 at 10 a.m. at Mount Rose Memorial Park.
A memorial to Boys Town U.S.A. has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
