Kenneth Lee Rector, 62, of Valdese passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, following a period of declining health.
Kenneth was born November 19, 1956, in Burke County, to the late Lee E. Rector and Viola Hull Rector.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rutherford College and a big fan of Nascar.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Mourglea.
A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese with Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, prior to the service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Service.
