Kina Joan Garrett, age 53, of Keavy, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. She was the mother of Keyana Aslinger and Kenya Garrett both of Keavy, Kentucky, and Brittney Short and husband Shannon of Paint Lick, Kentucky; the daughter of William Garrett of Lily, Kentucky; the sister of Kim Waterhouse and husband Joe of Petersburg, Michigan, Craig Garrett of Lily, Kentucky, and Marty Kilgore and wife Phyllis of Wise, Virginia. She was also blessed two grandchildren, Taygen Short and Channing Short; and baby Aslinger on the way. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon (Sadler) Garrett.
Funeral services for Kina Joan Garrett will be conducted Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 12:00 noon at East London Holiness Church, 838 Smith Brewer Road, London, Kentucky with Rev. Tim Charles officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Kina Joan Garrett will receive friends at East London Holiness Church after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.
