Celebrating the Life of Vivian Cloud Gray will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 19, 2021, in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Rodney Monk officiating.
Committal service will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Visitation will be held in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., then on Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
Vivian, 72, of Oak Grove, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in the Sterlington Rehabilitation Hospital, Bastrop. She was born July 29, 1949, in Oakdale to the union of Anderson Cloud and Viola (Perkins) Cloud.
Vivian was a great joy to all who knew her. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed it dearly. She was a wonderful gift giver. Vivian was a devoted Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to Christian music on K-Love and praying. Vivian loved talking with her sister and best friend, Lola.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Anderson and Viola Cloud; her husband, Claude Gray and her son, Kevin Charles Dean.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters: Carrie Lynn (James) Otwell and Melissa Dean (Brandon) both of Oak Grove; one brother, Allen "Pinky" (Monica) Cloud of Mississippi; one sister, Lola Marie (Richard) Courville of Eunice; seven grandchildren: Sean (Sydnie) Dean, Lauren Ederington, Kevin (Arianne) Dean, Philip Dean, Gabby (Bo) Terral, Gaige Smith and Logan King; eleven great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Kevin Dean, Philip Dean, Sean Dean, Bo Terral, Joe Ederington, and Jody Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Logan King, Paul Kennedy, Gaige Smith, and Austin Monk.
