He was the son of Fay Robertson and the late Joe Robertson, Sr. Joe Jr. graduated from the first graduating class of Northeast High School. Prior to that he attended Spring Valley High School where he won the championship game in football.
Joe Jr. married his surviving wife, Victoria Robertson, on March 23, 1995 and adopted his surviving daughter, Victoria Reilly. He was a loving son, husband, and father. Joe Jr. was full of life and always had pride in everything he did. He loved Carolina Gamecocks Football games and anything to do with fast cars or bikes.
