Daughter of Ester Nelle Millirons and Robert Charles Horne. Before the company went out of business, she worked as a bag inspector and machine operator for Hood Packaging. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Sylvia Cardin and Betty Boykin; brothers, Wade "Bo" Horne and Donald Horne; and grandson, Donald "Austin" Watson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Godwin; daughter and son in-law, Sherry and Randy Boyd, and Heather and Donald Wrye, Jr. - all of Valdosta; grandchildren, Lindsey and husband, Kevin Wilson, Kamie Wrye and fiancé, Christopher Crumley - all of Valdosta, Daniel and wife, Brooke Wrye of Hahira; great grandchildren, Dalton Wilson, Kinsley Crumley, Gabby Wrye, and Landon Wrye - all of Valdosta, and Brysen Wrye of Hahira; brother and sister in-law, Jake and Pricilla Horne of Valdosta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Coppedge of Dasher, and Lee and Elaine Godwin of Morven; and sister in-law, Mary Ann Dell of Morven.
