She was born in Jersey City, NJ and graduated from St. Dominic Academy in 1969. After attending New Jersey City University in Jersey City, she worked in Manhattan for several years.
A thirty-seven year resident of Morristown, she was a devoted and much-loved wife and mother. She loved gardening, spending time at the beach, and being with her family. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry, and her beloved daughter, Kaitlin. She is also survived by her brother, William M. McKinney, her mother, Barbara McKinney, and her stepson, Derek Krumeich. She was predeceased by her father, William A. McKinney.
A Blessing will be held at the Church of the Assumption, 94 Maple Avenue, Morristown on Thursday April 13th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown. Hours of visitation will be from 2pm - 4pm and from 6pm – 8pm on Wednesday April 12th at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Market Street Mission, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
