Alberta married the love of her life Jerry Wayne Capps on February 1, 1969 in Poteau, OK. They shared 52 years of life, marriage and memories together.
She was a housewife, pastor's wife and a secretary for Griffins Manufacturing through out her life.
Alberta was a member of Church of God where she was heavily involved in serving throughout the church. She enjoyed getting away to her cabin in the mountains and taking road trips to the mountains in the northwestern parts of the United States. Alberta was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eva Zearley; husband, Jerry Wayne Capps; brother, Duane Strange; 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
Alberta is survived by her sons, Mickey Capps, Roy Capps; brothers, A.J. Zearley, Phillip Zearley; sister, Lillie Hicks; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Strange, Sandy Zearley and Rosa Zearley.
