Mr. Laurence was born on February 23, 1933 in Anacoco to his parents, Davis P. & Daisy Prewitt Laurence. He entered into Heaven on Friday, September 10, 2021 at his home in Florien.
He served as a pastor in New Iberia and Westlake, and supplied for many churches in Louisiana. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1955. He loved to sing and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Laurence is preceded in death by his parents, Davis P. & Daisy Prewitt Laurence; his first wife, Jackie Laurence; his second wife, Janice Ford Laurence; one brother, Ercell Laurence; and one son, Billy F. Laurence.
Left to cherish his memory is his son and daughter in law: Lynn & Beth Laurence of Anacoco, LA; one sister and brother in law: Dianne & Don Stokes of Anacoco, LA.
