Peggy Jean Kirkpatrick Bragg, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Gulfport. She was born on April 13, 1938 at King Daughters Hospital and was a lifelong resident of Gulfport.
Mrs. Bragg was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Thelma Miller Kirkpatrick; husband, Holden D. "Chick" Bragg; and siblings, Clara L. Magnusen of Newport News, VA, Carl Emmett Kirkpatrick, of Gulfport, MS, and Glen Clark Kirkpatrick of Pascagoula, MS.
Survivors include two sons, William H. (Laura) Bragg and David W. (Lynne) Bragg, both of Gulfport, MS; six grandchildren, Phillip Bragg of Gulfport, MS, Wayne Bragg of Denver, CO, Sarah (Chris) Marusich of Troy, AL, Kate (Kruze) Vanderford of Memphis, TN, Brandon (Maddie) Payne of Gulfport, MS, and Mary Ellen (Pete) Neil of Slidell, LA; 19nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Oscar.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
