• Services for Edison Ray Dewberry Sr., 74, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Woodberry Forest Cemetery in Madill.

Dewberry was born Dec. 31, 1924, at Shay, to Daniel W. and Bobbie Savage Dewberry. he died Sept. 8, 1999, in Ardmore.

A former service manager for Schwab Pontiac and Norwood Chevrolet, he opened Eddie¹s Conoco Service Station in 1969 and operated it until he retired in 1989. He was a member of Dickson Baptist Church. He and Gaylon F. Randolph were married Feb. 14, 1993, in Kingston. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Emma Dean.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Ray, Ardmore; two daughters, Barbara Dunlap of Ardmore and Darlene Labeth of Dickson; two sisters, Maudie Bearden and Jewel McMillan, both of Salinas, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Jeff Vaughan, Eddie Dewberry III, Allen Cook, Jimmy Cross, Marshall Harper and Cliff Randolph.

Visitation will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
