ASPERMONT (RNS)-Cleddie Carlton (Ted) Hill, 49, lifetime Stonewall County stock farmer, was crushed to death under the wheel of his tractor while stripping cotton on his farm about seven miles north of here shortly before noon Monday.

Mr. Hill was born Feb. 10, 1912, in Stonewall County. He married Joy McEwen Sept. 14, 1935, at Hawley.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Swenson Church of Christ. Burial will be in Braszos Valley Cemetery, north of Swenson. Young Funeral Home of Aspermont will be in charge.

Surviors include the wife of Aspermont; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hill of Aspermont; two sisters, Mrs. Jake Whitefield of Monahans, and Mrs. Wayne Laird of Aspermont; three brothers, Tom of Aspermont, Burton of Wichita Falls and D.C. Hill Jr., of Post.
