b. 8 Oct 1712: son of Experience and Remember (Bourne) Mayhew *. Experience Mayhew (b.Feb 1673) was a clergyman and celebrated missionary to the Indians.

Remember Bourne, b. 1683; was dau. of Shearjashub and Bathsheba (Skiffe) Bourne of Sandwich, Mass. She was Experience Mayhew's second wife.
