He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roy Bailey and Leland Bailey and two sisters, Della Bailey Brown and Elwanda Bailey Massey.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Olena Russell Bailey of the home; two sons, Kevin Bailey of Cave City and John Bailey (Faidra) of Batesville; three brothers, Gerald Bailey (Faye) of Cave City, Cletus Bailey (Joann) and Glenn Bailey (Linda) both of Ash Flat; two grandchildren, Gannon Dale Bailey and Hayley Gardner both of Batesville; one great grandson, Corbin Smith of Batesville; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard and Bro. John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
