Donna Ruth (Davis) Beneux, age 75, died at home in Mulberry, AR, on September 5, 2021. Donna was born November 21, 1945 in Fort Smith, AR. She was a 1963 graduate of Fort Smith High School. Donna attended Fort Smith Junior College then earned her bachelor's degree from Arkansas Tech University and master's degree in education from North Eastern Oklahoma State. Donna married Paul David Beneux in 1965. Donna and David lived and raised their children in Mulberry, AR. Donna taught at Darby and Chaffin Junior High and later taught at Mulberry High School. Donna was a member of West-Ark Church of Christ where she curated sister-like relationships. She was also an avid tennis player loving both the sport and friendships.

Donna is survived by her husband, David, their sons, Bryan and wife Nancy of Fort Smith, and Paul and wife Alyssia of Van Buren, and 6 grandchildren, Riley, Alex, Audra, Karsten, Vivian, and Caroline, her brother, Jerry Davis of Fort Smith, cousin, Diane Durden of Fort Smith, and her sister-in-law, Helen Pratt of Fort Smith. Donna is also survived by her daughter in heart, Mary Glorit, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, several nieces, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, EG and Ruth Davis of Fort Smith and her mother-in-law, Eleanor Casey of Fort Smith.

Funeral services will take place at West-Ark Church of Christ in Fort Smith on Thursday, September 9 at 10 a.m. Burial services will take place at New Cemetery in Mulberry, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been created in Donna's name at the MPV Education Foundation.
