With heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beautiful soul. At the young age of 19, Alec Brandon Delafield lost his life on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Alec was a warrior in life. He was sweet and compassionate and loved his friends and family. He had a smile that could light up any room. He brought love, laughter and joy to all who knew him. Those who knew Alec, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Alec was born on June 17, 2001 in Phoenix, Arizona.
He graduated from Paradise Valley High in 2019. Alec was an accomplished student and athlete. He was passionate about wrestling, taking medals in high school as well as mastering his skills in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He had a growing passion in health and nutrition, business marketing, photography, video editing, lighting and visual arts.
Alec will be missed every day by his father, Brandon, his mother, Jamie, his brothers Aidan and Landon, and his loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
We know Alec is in God's grace. Godspeed to a great man and friend - a man of men and his brother's keeper. He is gone, but never lost and never forgotten. We ask that his memory be honored as the man he was, as the fighter he was as the sweet boy he was. His bright light has gone out in the world but the impact of his life will last forever in all our hearts.
