Merrill Leigh Jordan passed away at the age of 40 on September 6, 2021, due to complications from Covid and Multiple Sclerosis. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002. Even though this disease affected her daily, she never let it stop her from living her best life. Her beautiful face, smile, and contagious laugh would light up any room.

Merrill was born on January 4, 1981, in Fullerton, California, to Thomas Joseph "Joe" Beckwith and Jeanne Ann Beckwith. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, after her family moved there in 1987. Eventually she moved to central Georgia, where she worked as a legal assistant at Sedghi Law, LLC.

Merrill attended Walton High School where she was member of the Walton Raider color guard. As a member of the color guard, she participated in the 1996 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies in Atlanta, Georgia. She later graduated from Harrison High School.

Merrill will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her wife, Amy; her bonus daughters, Taylor and Alisha; her bonus grandson, Greyson; her mother, Jeanne Ann; her brother, Tyler (Kelsey); her stepmother, Lee; her half sister, Bailey (Will); and stepsisters, Allie (Christopher) and Reynolds (Drew).

Merrill was preceded in death by her father, Joe.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the McCullough Funeral Home chapel, 417 S Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, Georgia. Visitation with her family will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Following the service, Merrill will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery, 205 S Pleasant Hill Rd., Warner Robins, Georgia.
Memorial donations in memory of Merrill may be made to the MS Center at Shepherd Center at 2020 Peachtree Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30309.
