Arthur Louis Campo, Sr., 92 years old, of Baker, LA, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 16, 2021. He entered this world on February 26, 1929, born to Laura and Bernard Campo, in Paincourtville, LA.

Arthur is survived by his two children and son in-law, Al Campo and wife, Sandy Aucoin Campo of Baker, Laura Campo of Baker, and Guy Yammarino of Scott; grandchildren, Dustin Yammarino and wife, Brandy, Josh Yammarino and wife, Carlee, Collin Yammarino, Nick Campo, Adam Campo and wife, Candice, Claire Campo, and Adrian Campo; four great-grandchildren, Hunter and Kaiser Yammarino, Kendall Campo, and Ava Yammarino, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Laura Dugas Campo, daughter, Kathy Yammarino; brothers: Ben, Fred, Norman, and "T-Don" Andrew; and sisters: Selma, Tillie, Evelyn, Alice, and Norma Jane

Pallbearers will be his six grandsons.

Arthur retired from General Paper Co. after 35 years of service. Arthur was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church since 1959, where he was a long-time volunteer, commentator, Lector, Usher, and a member of The Knights of Columbus. He was a charter member and Part President of the Baker Jaycee Organization and Coached in the Baker Little League organization. He was part Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Third Degree Council 4085 of Baker and member for 45 years as of June 2007. He was Part President of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Chapter of the Knights of Columbus. He was Part Faithful Navigator of the Fourth Degree of Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Gassler Assembly. He was a Former Master of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus for the State of Louisiana. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, on September 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, celebrated by Father Frank Bass. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Cemetery, 119 Hwy. 403, Paincourtville, LA celebrated by Father Tomi Thomas.

Masks will be required by all upon entering the church.
