A Sad Death
Was That of Miss Oral Ashby - Will be buried Here.
The remains of Miss Oral Ashby will reach here on the Limited at 2:44 tomorrow afternoon. They will be immediately taken to Mound cemetery for interment.

Miss Ashby died yesterday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Clarence Kreig, in Greenfield, Ind., after a several week's illness with consumption.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ashby, of our city. She was only 17 years or eighteen years of age. When she left here, she was apparently in the best of health and the news of her death caused much surprise among her friends.

Her demise seems most untimely and is the cause of much sorrow.

The remains of Miss Oral Ashby arrived in the city Friday on the 2:44 train from Greenfield, Ind. They were taken to the Christian church where services were held. Interment was at Mound Cemetery.

The remains were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kreig and Mrs. Will Redfern.
