GEORGE DEWEY HATFIELD

Graveside services for George Dewey Hatfield, 84, of Rt. 4. Marshall, were held at 3 p.m. today at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Melvin Welch officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with arrangements by the Sullivan Family of Funeral Directors.

Mr. Hatfield died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 1981 in Merritt Plaza Nursing Home after a long illness. Born Sept. 3, 1897 in Kentucky, he was the son of Riley Hatfield and Allie Hatfield. He was a farmer and a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Leon Hatfield of Carrolton and Joe Will Hatfield of Clarksville, Tenn.; two daughters, Jeanette Hatfield of McKinney and Sara Grubbs of New Boston; several grandchildren; one brother, Curly Hatfield of Diana; one sister, Mrs. Tommie Williams of Jefferson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were the staff of The Sullivan Funeral Home.
