He married Alma "Allie" I Armstrong in 1915 and they were later divorced. They were the parents of two children, Murray V Evans and Willis D Evans.
In addition to the siblings listed with parents William M Evans and Amanda Boone Evans, there is one sister not linked there: Olive Evans Ragan burial unknown.
