He was born April 14, 1996, in Washington, a son of O. Kurt Jr., and Kimberly Cox Wietasch.
He was a graduate of Trinity High School and then went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University, majoring in Safety Management. He worked as a loss control consultant for Cincinnati Insurance Company. He previously attended Abundant Life Baptist Church, where he helped with Jr. Church and Bible school.
He was a member of Zelienople Sportsman's Club and enjoyed "working out" at the gym. Greg loved going on vacation and trying new restaurants with his fiancee, Karissa, along with hanging out with his brother, friends and dog Ruby. He loved fishing and going to the mountains during bear and trout season.
He is survived by his parents, O. Kurt and Kimberly Wietasch Jr. of Amity; fiancee Karissa Lambert of Gibsonia; brother Brant (Brandy) Wietasch of Washington; maternal grandparents Tom and Sharon Cox of Amity; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friend Brandon (Lindsay) McGavitt of Washington, who was like a brother to Greg.
Deceased are his paternal grandparents, Otto and Hilde Wietasch.
A private celebration of life service was held in the Abundant Life Baptist Church with internment in the Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Cemetery, Amity.
