Hazel Colquitt Taylor, a resident of the Rock Springs Community in Elmore County, passed away Monday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 90.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 9 - 10 a.m. at Rock Springs Baptist Church, with funeral services immediately following at 10 a.m. with Bro. Ron Estes officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory directing.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children: Kyndall Taylor (Susanna) and Gregory Taylor; grandchildren: Hope Franklin (Truman), Justin Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Summer Lanier (Warren), and Chelsea Davis; great grandchildren: Brayden McGinnis, Ariana Lanier, Benjamin Lanier, and Timothy Davis; sister: Myrna Edgar, and several loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: James T. Taylor; parents: J.C and Cora Lee Colquitt; brother: Morris Colquitt; sisters: Pauline Blankenship, Nell Phillips.

Serving as pallbearers: Justin Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Richard Edgar, Clayton Edgar, Lee Edgar, and Danny Shipp.

Hazel worked with the Elmore County Board of Education as a school bus driver for 31 years and after retiring, was an important team member of Association of Christians in Tallassee (ACTS) to assist families in need.
