Although the obituary indicates he died in the morning of December 30, 1954, his death certificate indicates it was at 11:54 PM on the 29th. The 30th had been entered on the death certificate, but then corrected to the 29th. He was buried in January of 1955.
He was married to Eva May Dobbins in 1904 and they had two sons and 1 daughter.
