"Herman Clyde Humphreys, 79, of 8331 North Troost, died today at the General Hospital where he had been a patient since November 3. Mr. Humphreys was a retired farmer and had lived in the Gashland community 25 years. He was born at Humphreys, Mo., a town named for his father. He leaves a son, Ellis E. Humphreys of the home; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 4 o'clock Wednesday at the Francis chapel, Parkville. Burial will be in East Slope Cemetery, Riverside."
