Clara Virginia Jay Frye of LaFayette died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007. She was 92.
She was a lifelong resident of LaFayette and was a member of LaFayette Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Robert Samuel Frye.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sammie and Bill Dobson; grandson and his wife, William Gregory and Rachel Dobson; great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her Granny Frye, Amanda Dobson of Rome, Italy, Meredith, Elizabeth, Henry and Peter Dobson, all of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services: Saturday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. at LaFayette Cemetery with Rev. Jim Sailors officiating.
