Mrs. Lydia Bush died in Lafayette, Saturday, her death having ended a long period of sickness. Mrs. Bush was a daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Burkhalter, who lived many years just north of Dayton. In 1878 she was married to Harry Wilson, who died in 1884. One daughter, Mrs. Mabel Ruger, was born to this union. This daughter ministered faithfully to her mother's needs all through her last illness. Later in life Mrs. Wilson married John Bush, who died in 1910. The deceased woman was an Aunt of Jerome Burkhalter of this vicinity and she was also a near relative of Mrs. Ziegler, deceased.
