John Louis "J L" Haller September 10, 1930 - August 30, 2021
John Louis "J.L." Haller, 90 of Magazine, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, August 30, 2021 in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born September 10, 1930 in Golden City near Booneville to the late Louis Washington and Altie D (Swint) Haller.

J.L. was a builder and carpenter and he built many houses and other commercial buildings in the Logan County area for many years. He was a farmer/rancher and enjoyed raising cattle, baling hay, and hauling cattle to the sale barn. He especially liked to talk "politics". He served on the Magazine School Board for 10 years.

He is preceded in death by one son, Timmie L Haller; one grandson Christopher L Haller, five sisters; Addie Z. (Haller) Starling, Ovene (Haller) Starling, Virginia (Haller) Napier, Geneva (Haller) Davis, Vera Lee (Haller) Beck; two brothers; Wayne Dean Haller and Sinclair Haller and his parents before mentioned.

He is survived by one son, Stevie Haller and wife Brenda of Booneville; seven grandchildren; Michael L. Haller of Prairie Grove and Timmie L. Haller Jr. (Kristie) of Edmond, Oklahoma: 3 daughters, Cynthia Austin (Charles) of Benton, Joey Grizzle (Seth) of Burleson, Texas, and Timilyn Whiteman (Tommy) of Keller, Texas, Stephen M Haller of Paris and Joseph L Haller (Sarah) of Magazine; 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Evans Cemetery near Magazine, under the direction of Bulger Funeral Home.

Viewing will be from 12:00- 6:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Bulger Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons, Michael Haller, Stephen Haller, Joe Haller, Michael John Haller, Dalton Haller, and Luke Haller.
