Cletus Junior "Shorty" Ketterman, age 72 of Maysville, WV passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at his home. He was born June 25, 1949, in Dorcas, WV and was a son of the late Cletus William Ketterman and Naomi Virginia (Mongold) Ketterman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Sue (Waldron) Ketterman on January 31, 2014; infant son, Joey Ketterman; three brothers, Elwood Ketterman, Ricky Ketterman and infant brother, Johnny Ketterman.

Junior is survived by his son, Billy Allen Ketterman and wife Joann of Maysville, WV; Special friend, Shirley VanMeter; four sisters, Linda Bensenhaver of Petersburg, WV, Bonnie Lockney and husband Jim of Petersburg, WV, Nancy Shook and husband Junior of Petersburg, WV and Eleanor Keplinger and husband Randy of Petersburg, WV; three brothers, Jerry Ketterman , Bruce Ketterman and wife Jerri, and Danny Ketterman and wife Peggy all of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Junior was a farmer and worked for Kessel Lumber Company for several years. He attended Riverside Church, Cabins, WV.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg with Pastor Tommy George officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.

Burial will follow in the Ketterman-Waldron Cemetery on Jordan Run Road, Maysville, WV.
