Roger D Kirk, 67, of Evansville, IN journeyed to join in heaven's choir on Thursday, August 19, 2021 surrounded by his family. Roger was born in Evansville, IN on October 8, 1953.

Roger was a man who never met a stranger, worked hard to provide for his family, and enjoyed the outdoors – especially his backyard deck listening to his music. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Roger worked for Warehousing Incorporated for over 30 years, renovated over 10 homes, and even dug out a basement by hand.

Roger is survived by his wife Karen (Datzman) Cissna-Kirk; children Kevin, Kassie and Kelly Kirk; Cassie (Tim) McDermott; Elaine (Tony) Freels; Lisa Kisner; Kara Cissna (Ben Nicholson); Leah (Ryan) Oeth; and grandchildren Zack and Jenna McDermott; Savannah and Riley Freels; Zane, Isaac and Jase Kisner; Xander, Finley and Owen Nicholson; and Carter, Chloe, and Caroline Oeth. Siblings Brannon (Jessica) Kirk, Barb (Timothy) Crouch, Kathy Higgs, and Gloria Patton along with loving nieces and nephews.

Roger is proceeded in death by his parents Margaret Baggett and Clifford Kirk, brother Cliff Kirk, and sister Carolyn Kirk.

Friends and Family are invited to attend an open house Celebration of Life at the Riverbend Club, 2207 W. Franklin Street, where Roger was an active member on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 11:00 AM to – 3:00 PM CDT. Arrangements by Pierre Funeral Home. Published in Courier Press on Aug. 31, 2021.
