Mr. Elmer Leroy Blankenship age 53 of Pittsburg, passed away on Sunday March 28, 2021 in Upshur county in a fatal auto accident. He was born July 4, 1967 to Elmer and Ethel Young Blankenship. He was the youngest of 14 children and never married or had children but he had a kind heart and will be missed by all of his family and friends. He is survived by brothers; Wayne Blankenship and wife Jody, Johnny Blankenship and wife Vivian, and sisters; Shirley Sampson, Doris Ray and husband Tom, Laura Hawthorne, Pasty Whitehead and husband Al, Wanda Curry and husband James and nephew Jason Anderton along with many other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Elmer & Ethel Blankenship, brothers; Jerry Blankenship, Royce Blankenship, Rickey Blankenship and sisters; Mary Smith, Rebecca Nipp, and Peggy Reniewicki. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday April 11, 2021 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Pittsburg.
