Dessie S. Blu, 93, of 300 Windy Hill Drive, died April 25, in St Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born March 19, 1896, in Sheffield Township, Tippecanoe county. Miss Blu was employed in the office of the county auditor-treasurer for 19 years. She also had worked for Dr Fred Lupe and in 1965, she retired from Purdue University where she was employed 10 years. From 1965 until 1975, she was resident director of the YWCA. A life member of First Christian Church, she was past president of the Lafayette Business and Professional Women's club; member of St Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary and Blue Triangle Club of the YWCA. There are no immediate survivors. Graveside service April 28, Dayton Cemetery, the Rev Joan Williams officiating. Soller-Baker Lafayette funeral directors in charge.
