Geneva L. Davis, 93, of Columbus, went to be with her Lord at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Geneva was born in North Vernon on June 15, 1928 to Rev. Frank and Erma Daily Youngman. She married Arvel Gene Davis on September 2, 1944 [Bartholomew Co., Indiana.]

Geneva was a member of Bethel Holiness Church for many years. She proudly supported her church, Bethel Holiness School, as well as several Bible colleges and missionaries throughout the years. Geneva was a homemaker who raised four children and also worked at flower from the Woods for almost 20 years. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, growing both flowers and a vegetable garden. Geneva lived in the same house in Lowell for over 70 years, and was a good neighbor to all around her. She was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include her sons, Arvel Engene (Brenda) Davis and Richard W. Davis both of Columbus; daughters, Lynda S. (Kenneth) Dill and Dawn M. Burton both of Columbus; grandchildren, Daniel Burton, Joshua Burton, Bryan Dill, Renee Perry, Christopher Dill, Gene Davis, Marc Davis and Christine Shafer; 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arvel Gene Davis; a brother, Francis Youngman; sisters, Marie Streeval and Thelma Graham; a grandson, Brian Davis and son-in-law, Roger Burton.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Thompson and Rev. Nathan Shockley officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
