Franklin Dee Chrane finally went home on August 26, 2021. He lived 81 years on this earth. He was a long-time resident of Dudley, Texas, and was the owner/operator of Chrane Ranch. Frank wore many hats in his life including a rancher of many kinds of livestock including cattle, sheep and angora goats. Not only was Frank a long-time member of the Hwy. 36 Church of Christ, but he also served as both Deacon and Elder for Church. He was husband to his wife Pat for 62 years, father of four good boys, grandfather and great-grandfather, uncle, a leader in the community and friend to many, many people.
Frank was proceeded in death by his father and mother, George and Mary; brothers and sisters, Odell Cody, Oletta Windham, Leo Chrane, Troy Chrane, Wanda Kensler, George Harmon Chrane (Sonny); and his son, Larry.
Frank is survived by his wife Pat; sons Terry and wife Daphna, Randy and wife Lory and Blan and wife Michelle; grandkids, Megan, Glenda and husband Brady, Terry-Lee and husband Aaron, Sarah and husband Sam, Colton and wife Cayce, Sydney and husband Travis, and Makenna and Jackson Chrane; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Gatlin, and Bodie Broyles, Jack and Tucker Hayes, Callahan Grinstein and Ozzy Chrane; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the West Texas Rehab Center for years of service to this family
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday August 29, 2021, at the Hwy 36 Church of Christ. Graveside service will be at the Dudley Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 30th under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home of Clyde.
