Odell Pendley, son of the late Clido Pendley and Eva Mae (Bingham) Pendley, was born in Bingham Hollow, Kentucky, on March 10, 1933. He departed this life at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri, on August 23, 2021, at the age of 88.

On November 5, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, Odell was united in marriage to Lucy Mae (Bunch) McWilliams and to this union 10 children were born. Lucy preceded him in death on March 31, 1997. Odell was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching hummingbirds, gardening, farming, and watching the food channel. His greatest joy was spending time with his kids, especially his grandkids.

Odell was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, Florence Lorene "Sissy" McWilliams, 2 brothers, Glenn and Curtis, and 4 sisters, Dorothy, Lucy, Omie and Annie.

Odell is survived by one son, Donald McWilliams and wife Noemi of Goodyear, Arizona, 8 daughters, Diane Miller and husband Dean of Centerville, Missouri, Lorretta Dement of Centerville, Missouri, JoAnn Lindsey and husband Danny of Morgantown, Kentucky, Debbie Williams of Ellington, Missouri, Connie Pendley of Ellington, Missouri, Chris Lapp and companion Dan of Holland Patent, New York, Shannon Lewis and husband Phil of Redford, Missouri, and Alice Pendley of Chicago, Illinois, one sister, Minnie Johnson of Russellville, Kentucky, 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Odell will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.
