ROSETTA (BABCOCK) CASTON
December 7, 1935 ~ August 20, 2021 (age 85)
Graveside services for Rosetta Caston will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at the Grant Cemetery in Grant, OK with Keithen Brown officiating.
Rosetta went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2021, in Paris, TX at the age of 85.
Rosetta was born December 7, 1935, in Hugo, OK the daughter of Arnold and Emma Mae (Spears) Babcock. She had lived in in this area all of her life and was a very active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hugo, OK.
Rosetta married Maxie Glenn Caston on November 22, 1956, in Hugo, OK. She had worked at the Glove Factory, and as a salesclerk for Sharpe's Department Store and Sherman Shoes. Rosetta knew everybody, and loved to go shopping, garage sale hunting, cooking and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Samuel Austin Babcock; sister Bertha Lavern (Babcock) Hinsley.
Rosetta is survived by her husband, Maxie Caston of Hugo, OK; her children Perry and Dawn Caston of Flower Mound, TX , and Maxie Darryl Caston of Hugo, OK; grandchildren: Brody Caston, Alixx Caston, Evan Caston, Laura Caston, and Jodie Caston.
