Gary Wayne Bayless, 67, of Parsons, died at 8:15 A.M., Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Parsons Good Samaritan Center.
He was born December 31, 1953 at Parsons, the son of Merle Max and Mayellen Snell (Evans) Bayless. He was raised at Parsons and attended school here. He lived in Denver, CO for a short time before moving to Wichita, where he worked for the southwestern Bell Telephone Company for many years.
He returned to Parsons upon his retirement.
Survivors include: his mother – Mayellen Bayless, Parsons, KS; one sister – Cheryl Wallace, Parsons, KS; one nephew – Scott Wallace, and his wife, Cindy), St. Peters, MO; two nieces – Amber Wallace, and her fiancée, Craig Termin, Lee's Sumit, MO, Misty Moody, and her husband, Kyle, Overland Park, KS; seven great nephews – Jay and Dru Wallace, St. Peters, MO,Kade and Tate Sedoreck, Lee's Summit, MO, Howie Termin, Lee's Summit, MO, Dayton and Donovan Moody, Overland Park, KS; one expected great-great nephew.
Gary was preceded in death by his father – Merle Max Bayless, who died in 1982.
Cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. There will be an honoring of life service held for the family at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church. These may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, P.O. Box 942
