My beloved Nana was born on a Tuesday in New York, a first-generation American of Austria/Budapest immigrant parents, Michael Bednar and Anna Kopas.

She was married to William Brunnemann from 1919 until his death in 1953. After 20 years alone, she married William Albers in Florida on August 28, 1977.
