Born March 21, 1942, in Anderson County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Mary Howard Nix. Having resided in Forest City since 1975, she worked for Mastercraft for over 20 years retiring in 2004, and was a faithful member of the Concord Baptist Church where she was active in Sunday School. Audrey loved to travel, and her greatest enjoyment was transporting her grandchildren to various activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Randlett, Jr. in 1993 and her brother, Afton Nix.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, George and Lisa Randlett of Forest City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Hope and Tim Burns of Denver, North Carolina, and Heather and Nathan Fisher of Forest City; seven grandchildren, Tanner Burns, Landon Burns, Aubrey Burns, Abby Fisher, Davis Fisher, Geordy Randlett and Will Randlett.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning, August 27, 2021, at 11 o'clock at the Concord Baptist Church with the Reverend Travis Laflin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
A service from the graveside will follow Friday afternoon at 3:30 at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Central, South Carolina.
