Oakland, Md. - Mrs. Ethel Bernadette Hinebaugh, 72, of Swallow Falls, formerly of Oakland, died yesterday at the Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home.

A native of Accident, she was a daughter of the late John and Martha (Alexander) Fresh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Hinebaugh.

Mrs. Hinebaugh and her late husband operated a restaurant in Oakland for 45 years.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Oakland.

Surviving are three sons, Guy William Hinebaugh, Deep Creek Lake, James C. Hinebaugh and Daniel M. Hinebaugh, both of Oakland; one brother, Cecil Fresh, Turtle Creek, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Winters, Mountain Lake Park; Mrs. Pearl Atkins and Mrs. Ann Redman, both of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; and Mrs. Lola Quinn, Frostburg; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the John O. Durst Funeral Home in Oakland where friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.

Services will be conducted at 10 a. m. with Rev. John A. Grant officiating.

Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be James Hesen, Louis Cornish, Richard Pagenhardt, James Helbig, James Rook and Arthur Naylor.
