James "Jim" A. Graham passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at Community Hospital due to complications of pneumonia. He was 86 years old.

He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Oct. 7, 1921, to Sam and Elizabeth (Foss) Graham.

He grew up in London, Ontario, and served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945.

He married Phyllis Filman on Dec. 7, 1944.

He worked at Johnson's Bakery and Sterling Stamp in London, until they moved to Anaheim, Calif., in July of 1955. He worked at Arcadia Glass and the Garden Grove Unified School District until his retirement in 1984.

He moved to Florence and built a home in 1985, then moved back to California, but ended up back in Missoula, where he resided until his death.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert, killed in Vietnam in 1967, and his wife, Phyllis in 1982.

He was a loving father to son, Richard and wife Colleen Graham of Anaheim, daughter Wendy and husband Rich Nickelson of Missoula, son Steve Graham of Mukilteo, Wash. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Don and wife Eileen Graham of London, Ontario; brother-in-law, Ken Sageman of Port Burwell, Ontario; and numerous family and friends.

Family gravesides services will be at the Florence Carlton Cemetery in Florence.
