JEFFREY A. ALMS, 73, of Perryville, Missouri, passed away at 6:45 pm, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital, Perryville, Missouri.



He was born to the late Howard and Marcella (nee Hapke) Alms on November 20, 1947 in Chester, Illinois.



Jeffrey married Donna Frazer on March 21, 1969 in Chester, Illinois; she preceded him in death on January 15, 2015.



He had worked in administration for Chester Mental Health Center for over 30 years.



Jeffrey was a member of Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, Missouri. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #133 in Perryville and V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester. Jeffrey and his wife along with some friends also started the Southern Illinois Corvette Club. Jeffrey enjoyed woodworking, fishing and loved his grandsons and great grandson.



He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran.
