Lois Grace Eastin Landreth, age 75, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday evening, August 22, 2021, at her home.

She was born June 17, 1946, the daughter of Jess and Hazel (O'Brien) Miller. She was united in marriage to Larry Dale Eastin Sr. on December 20, 1963, in Flora, Illinois, and together they shared 50 years of marriage until his death May 25, 2014. She later married Roy Landreth on May 4, 2018, in Louisville.

Lois worked many years at Kern Manufacturing which led her to traveling to several countries. She retired from Kern and was currently employed by Flora School District #35 as a bus aide. She absolutely loved the children on the buses, and many called her "Nana." First and foremost, Lois was a servant! All through her life she would willingly do whatever needed to be done to help the elderly in her community. Whether it was cooking, cleaning, sewing, or giving a ride when needed Lois was always there. Her service was exemplified in her caregiving. Wherever she was, be it at a hospital, shopping, or just someone's house, she would see someone's needs and meet them.

Lois loved to camp and fish. She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds feed at her and Roy's hummingbird feeders. She loved her dogs, and in fact had rescued many over the years. She cherished time spent with her grandkids, and more recently, being "Nana" to her great grandkids. Most of all Lois loved the Lord and His Church. She was a proud member of McCabe Lighthouse Ministry in Flora. If the doors were open, she was there, doing whatever needed to be done to help the church go.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband: Roy Landreth of Flora; 2 daughters: Vickie (Mike) Knepper of Newton, and Vivian (Terry) Ewing of Florence, Alabama; son: Larry (Kris) Eastin of Lawrenceville; step-daughter: Jamey Tolliver of Clay City; grandchildren: Charlie Workman of Louisville, Heather (Tyler) Mulvany of Flora, Vanessa (Tyrunne) Howard of Effingham, Brittini (Derek) Hintz of Florence, Alabama, Brock Giddens (Jordan Meares) of Kansas City, Brandon Giddens of Louisville, Jessica Burroughs (Jacob Butts) of Odin, Jordan (Matt) Nix of Salem, Allen Burroughs of Orchardville, Levi Eastin (Mallory Brooke) of Noble; 3 step-grandchildren: Joshua and Sean Sullens, and Nicole Ewing; several great-grandchildren; cherished in-laws: Norma (Art) Tunnicliff of Brighton, Janet Sue Porchot of Holliday, Florida, and Ernest Leon Eastin of Fairfield; plus a host of cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; an infant daughter: Velma Mae; and a cherished brother-in-law: Ronnie Eastin.
