George (stage name: "Sam Rice")also named himself the King of Burlesque. He organized a troop of players and they toured all over the US. Sometimes calling themselves "The Merry Maidens", sometimes the "Daffydils." He met and married Lulu in 1908. She and her father were a popular dancing/entertaining team. He is credited for creating the famous "Lemon Bit" comedy routine that was later refined and made famous by Abbott & Costello. He retired from Burlesque in 1921 and after the Stock Market Crash and the Great Depression, they moved to Los Angeles in 1931. They both acted in films. "Sam" was a successful character actor in dozens of films. He and Lulu had two sone together, George Jr. and James. He died in 1946.

Sam Rice known as the King of Burlesque Comedians, is extremely rich in comedy and has the audience in every minute of his time onstage.
