Lulu Beeson, like many other famous dancers, comes of a theatrical family and was taught the art when a child by her parents. Her father was Thomas Beeson, who himself a famous clog dancer in his day. Thomas Beeson, besides playing in vaudeville over the United States, operated vaudeville theatres in Dallas, Texas, Butte and Helena, Montana. When Lulu was four years old her father began to teach her the art of buck-and-wing dancing. She made her dubut when five years old in a song and dance in the Main Street theater, Dallas, Tex. The family then moved to Spokane.
