Joyce Elaine Myers, 72, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada following a lengthy illness. Joyce was born September 8, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to John J. and Evelyn F. (Wilson) Cain. She was united in marriage to Richard E. Myers on September 21, 1972 in Nevada and he survives of the home.

Joyce grew up in Kansas City and attended High School there. She then moved to Vernon County where she lived all her adult life. Throughout her life Joyce was a homemaker, she enjoyed painting, crafting, and especially spending time with her family. She was a former member of the Nevada Eagles Lodge.

In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by a son, Phillip Myers (Kaylee), Walker, MO; three grandchildren, Steven, Samantha, and Shannon; and a great-granddaughter, Bella. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Cain, and her son, Erik Myers.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Worsley Cemetery in Bronaugh with Scotty Pritchett officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.

Memorials are suggested in her memory to Moore-Few Care Center in care of the NRMC Foundation.
