Polly Jane García, loving daughter, mother and sister, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
Polly lived her life with a joyous spirit and a great sense of adventure. Her family was especially important to her and she loved her sons immensely and took great pleasure when she spent time with family and friends. Above all she loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious.
Pollu will be deeply missed.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Silviano and Mary Atencio. Polly is survived by her sons, Michael Vincent Hernández and Anthony David García, grandson, David Anthony Crossen, sisters, Theresa Hawkins, Mary Anita Molina, Juliana Atencio, Petra Seppenon, Silvia Carriaga and Agnes Moraga and many nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. and Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 26, 2021 at St. Charles Barromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, Albuquerque, NM. Internment will follow from 12:45 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Reception to follow at 1200 Richmond Dr. SE
